Out Of Bounds

By the students of THR 298 -SCSU Theatre in collaboration with the Crescent Players. Co-Directed by Gracy Keirstead and Sarah Bowles. The play was featured and earned awards at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival program .

An original play devised from the thoughts and ideas of students, Out of Bounds challenges the unspoken expectations of society by asking, “Where are we allowed to go, and where are we forbidden? Who are we allowed to be? What is beyond what is acceptable?  What are rules that we can all agree to follow, and when MUST we step out of line to challenge structures we find unjust? Can we remain connected to our roots and our past--and also evolve, blossom, and embrace change? Can we be brave, keep pushing, and risk crossing a boundary into the unfamiliar?”
